14′ x 7′ Beavertail Car Transporter Trailer Hire
Our most popular hire trailer is a 14′ x 7′ beavertail car transporter with a 3000kg gross weight and a carrying capacity of up to 2100kg. It has a fully boarded floor, making it suitable for transporting cars as well as a range of other loads.
When hired for moving a vehicle, lashing straps are supplied as required. The trailer can also be used for larger items such as roof tiles, log cabins, boats and hot tubs, subject to weight and suitability checks.

What Can the Car Transporter Trailer Be Used For?
Our beavertail car transporter trailer is suitable for a range of domestic and commercial uses, including:

Booking, Deposit & Hire Conditions
- All bookings must be made by telephone. We do not accept bookings via email.
- A booking deposit of at least £20 is required (paid by debit card). This will be deducted from the total cost upon collection.
- Please bring:
- Driving licence with your current address
- A recent utility bill or similar proof of address
- Your own number plate
- Trailer hire charges are payable at the time of hire and are not deducted from the deposit.
- Hire cost and deposit amounts vary depending on the trailer.
Please be aware:
Due to frequent no-shows, bookings will only be confirmed once the deposit has been paid.
Towing Requirements
Driving Licence:
If you passed your test before 01/01/1997, you likely have the B+E category. Our policy requires that drivers must have held a full licence for at least 3 years or have completed a recognised towing safety course.

Towbar & Electrics:
Your vehicle must be fitted with a standard 50mm tow ball and 7-pin plug.
If your vehicle has a 13-pin socket, we can provide an adaptor for a small fee.
Your tow ball should not exceed 17″ from the ground.
Hirers are responsible for ensuring their electrics are working. If in doubt, we can recommend a local auto electrician.
Detachable Towbars:
These must be securely fitted before arrival.
Towing capacities are shown on the vehicle’s VIN plate, which is usually fitted under the bonnet – although this varies. The top line is the vehicle’s gross weight, the second the gross combination weight and the next two are the front and rear axle weights.
